How to report a claim
Need to file a mini fleet insurance claim? Discover step-by-step instructions and important insurer contact information here.
If something has happened, do three things. Make sure everyone is safe and call 999 if anyone is hurt. Report it to your insurer’s 24-hour line using the table below; the number is also in your policy booklet. Then let us know on 01242 544 544 and we will help with the rest.
Inform the police
Call the police to record the accident, they will advise you if they need to attend the incident.
Obtain third party details and record the incident on your phone
Make a note of the following in a safe place:
- Driver’s name, address and telephone number
- Vehicle owner’s name and address (if the vehicle involved is company owned)
- Vehicle details, including the make, model, colour and registration number
- Use your phone to take photos
- Use your phone to take video footage
Report the incident to your insurance company
They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The contact numbers are below and in your policy booklet.
Report it the same day. Early reporting gets repairs authorised sooner and gives the insurer the best chance of defending the claim, which can help keep your premium down.
