Ratcliffes for Brokers is the broker department of Ratcliffe Underwriting, which is a subsidiary of M R Ratcliffe Consultants Ltd. We act as a wholesale distributor to insurance brokers for commercial vehicle and non-motor cover, and we are one of the country’s leading insurance brokers specialising in transport insurance. A family firm with traditional values, we have been trading since 1976. Our markets include ERS, Aviva, Allianz, AXA (goods in transit) and DCL, and Bspoke for media insurance.

Non-standard vehicle insurance

Some vehicles don’t fit the standard mould. Our non-standard vehicle insurance suits catering vans, bespoke mobile bars, modified vans with specialist equipment and drivers with past convictions.
